Business Description
Playing piano all my life would seem like the natural history behind someone that owns a music store...not so much in my case. I graduated with an accounting degree from the University of Alabama. After going to work at a major corporation I quickly realized how boring that was. My husband, a dj many years back, had recently opened a record store in the Tuscaloosa area to service most of the dj's in our market. Matt and I had small kids at the time so I literally went to work at EatMyBeats to keep from having to work a 8-5 job. Little did I know that this would end up being such a passion in my life. Having a music background helped me take our focus on the dj market and expand it to several other markets. Years later my husband has helped develop our full line music store into the great store that it is today. Now I get up everyday looking forward to what the day brings or what great musician may pop up in my store!
