Business Description
William "Bill" Drilling is the co-owner and pharmacist at Drilling Pharmacy in Sioux City, Iowa.
With co-owner and older brother, Donald, the brothers purchased the business from their father in 1986.
As the owner, Drilling is responsible for managing a staff, keeping the building in working order, paying the bills, taking care of public relations, and overseeing the business. Drilling became the Drilling Pharmacy Board President in 1997. He is responsible for holding regular board meetings and preserving the board records.
Drilling has held the position of pharmacist since 1985. He is responsible for filling, checking, transferring, and creating prescriptions, handling insurance claims, answering customer questions, finding lower price prescriptions for his customers, staying up-to-date on the pharmacy industry, and maintaining pharmacy technology like the Parata Robot.
