Business Description
Dr. Dean has been in practice since 1976. He was introduced to Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique In 1978 and now teaches this state-of-the-art procedure to doctors around the country. He has also trained with Dr. James Cox, developer of Cox Flexion/Distraction Technique and is certified in that method as well.
While his patients come from all walks of life, Dr. Dean's practice has been particularly popular with performers and athletes. "My daughter was a figure skater and I treated her team mates for various skating-related injuries," recalls Dr. Dean. "This developed into a focus for my practice."
He has helped performers in the touring casts of Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon and Mamma Mia. He has also treated NHL players and nationally recognized recording artists.
Dr. Dean was named the Michigan Association of Chiropractors' "Chiropractor of the Year." In 2011 he was appointed to the Michigan Board of Chiropractic by Gov. Rick Snyder.
