New York City born Day Darmet was given her first Betty Crocker Cookbook at age 4 and her love of cooking took off from there. While living in LA, Day owned and operated two restaurants and catering companies where she was the chef, featuring seasonal foods before the idea was popular.
In 1990, Day moved to Lyon , France where she studied regional cooking
In 1993, after moving to San Francisco , Day became the catering director for several large corporate catering cies. Having mastered the catering business, she partnered up with Florence Raynaud to begin the event planning , Daily Plan It, during the dot.com era where they planned, catered and created incredible parties, corporate events and rages. Her creativity is expressed by her distinctive and appealing point of view in her choice of recipes and unique party ideas. She truly loves what she does and looks forward to every day at work.
