Business Description
Alice Kil, founder of Darling Moon maintained her love for flowers after 7 years of college and graduate school. While familiar with orient floral art before schooling, she rediscovered her love for flowers by working at a local flower shop in New York City and becoming a wedding florist in 2015. This began a journey of studying different floral forms, backgrounds, and styles.
Although the city was in her, Alice missed her roots and began to explore Korean floral design. A year later, the curiosity continued, leading her to learn French floral art through the Catherine Muller Workshop in New York. These different experiences led her to form her very own floral studio, Darling Moon Flower. Still curious to see what else is out there and how to perfect her style, Alice became a Wedding Master at Zita Elze in the UK and attending the Aesme Flower Workshop in 2018.
Over ten years of learnings and discoveries finally led to her first brick and mortar in Tribeca where she now hosts class
