Dr. Hardy graduated cum laude from the Southern California College of Optometry in June 1977; served in the military in Texas, Germany, and Oklahoma for 4 years; practiced as part of a group with offices in San Bernardino and Fontana, California for 5 years; served in the military in New Mexico for 2.5 years; and returned to Utah in January 1990.
South Valley Eyecare was opened in August 1994 and has been in the same location for over 20 years. Dr. Hardy has the equipment and knowledge to work with general optometry, eye allergies, eye infection, dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, and macular generation; does yearly diabetic checks; and also does specialty contact lens fitting for conditions like high astigmatism and keratoconus.
Dr. Hardy and one staff member are fluent in Spanish.
