I have been interested in ritual and ceremony all of my life. I have studied many of the world's religions and in the 80's and 90's I created ceremonies and taught others how to put a meaningful ritual together. After moving to Kauai in 1999, I realized that many people would be interested in having someone perform their ceremony in a way that would reflect the love and meaning in their relationship. I truly enjoy partnering with people to create their perfect ceremony in their perfect setting. From this base, I decided to become a licensed minister in the state of Hawaii, so I could perform legal weddings and civil ceremonies. My first ceremonies were with friends. From there, my business has grown by word of mouth as well as from visitors to my website (customkauaiweddings.com). I am honored to perform these ceremonies, knowing they will always be cherished memories.
