Business Description

A native of Austin Texas, Dr. Kathryn Gibson is a General Practitioner and the owner of Comal Pet Hospital.

Dr. Gibson credits her parents with having encouraged her to follow her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. Now that she is a veterinarian and owner of her own practice, she says that all of the hard work is made worthwhile by the pleasure she derives in helping clients ensure their pets lead long and healthy lives.

In 2003, Dr. Gibson enrolled in Texas A& M University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Her area of particular professional interest is dentistry and she is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. In October of 2010, Dr. Gibson became the owner of Comal Pet Hospital.

Dr. Gibson and her husband David are the proud parents of two daughters, Megan, born in 2008, and Emily, born in 2011.
