Business Description
Chef Ted Torres, a Bronx native, moved to the Philadelphia area over twenty years ago to pursue his dream of becoming a chef. He attended The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College and graduated with an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts. Throughout the years, Chef Torres worked in some of Philadelphia's most prominent restaurants including El Vez, Continental, Alma de Cuba and Cuba Libre.
After 20 years in the industry, moving up the ranks from dishwasher to executive chef, Chef Torres announced the launch of his own company - Coa Catering, a full-scale catering and event planning company. Chef Torres created the company with the goal of sharing traditional Latino dishes with upscale contemporary concepts.
