Business Description
Savina has been involved with environmental and science education for over 30 years. Sweet and savory food have always been an important part of her life growing up in San Francisco. So in the early 1980's she began offering classes on food and chocolate tasting in the Bay Area.
When moving to the Portland Metro in 1999 with her husband, Savina brought this love of food, people and history with her and began offering indoor chocolate tastings. Several years later, after attending a local food tour, she thought it would be wonderful to have one specifically devoted to all things chocolate. So in 2007 she offered the first Downtown Portland Chocolate Walk and Chocolate Tasting & More was born. When she is not leading walking and tasting tours, she is the Scientist in Residence at Stafford Primary in West Linn.
