Business Description
Beth Jucovy is director of and teacher at her school, Children Dancing, based in Great Neck, Long Island since 1988, where she teaches classes in classical Ballet, Pointe, Isadora Duncan Dance, Modern/Jazz, Creative Dance and Body-conditioning for well-being. She is also Founder, Artistic Director, dancer and choreographer for Dance Visions NY, Inc. a not-for-profit company which presents original works as well as the technique and repertory of Isadora Duncan. Dance Visions has performed throughout the NY metropolitan area since 1990. Beth is an Isadora Duncan Dance specialist, trained since childhood with the late Julia Levien, and had been a dancer/soloist with many Ballet, Duncan and modern dance companies internationally. Beth had been a dance specialist at the Dalton School, Manhattan, teaching the kindergarten dance program from 2003-2013. She was an Aesthetic Education Dance Teaching Artist for Tilles Center 2000-2013 and continues to be a freelance dance teaching artist.
