My journey as a chef began later in life than most other chefs. At 21, I finally made the decision that cooking was what I had always been passionate about, and I knew that to be happy in life, I had to pursue my truest passion. So I started wherever I could, and that was first dishwasher at Crowne Plaza Resort in Garden Grove. But over time with persistence and education, I slowly worked my way through the kitchen ranks up to sous chef, until I realized I wanted to elevate my abilities and moved to San Francisco where I got my culinary arts degree at the now Le Cordon Bleu College. After achieving that, my opportunities began to present themselves, and for the next 18 years I dedicated my time to learning how to cook a variety of cuisine and expand my culinary knowledge. I accumulated skills and experience from kitchens throughout Italy and under household names such as Thomas Keller and Wolfgang Puck. Now, I'm going directly to the customer to go beyond the restaurant experience.
