Jennifer Evins was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, and graduated in 1988 with B.A. degree from Hanover College. After graduating from Hanover, Jennifer moved to Spartanburg for a job assignment and had a professional career in marketing and public relations. For several years, she served as Public Affairs Director at WSPA - TV, NewsChannel 7. Much of her time outside of work was spent advocating for the future of the arts in Spartanburg. The name Jennifer Evins rapidly became synonymous with superhero volunteerism, as she was the #1 driving force behind raising the necessary $40 million to make Chapman Cultural Center a reality. Today, she is President and CEO of The Arts Partnership, the administrative agency that owns and operates Chapman Cultural Center, and is leading the arts in Spartanburg with creative vision and a powerful voice.
