It wasn't until he started working at San Marcos BBQ in 2016 that he found his true calling. He fell in love with the BBQ way of life and decided to bring Central Texas-style BBQ to North Texas.

Burgins BBQ can be found along FM 515 near Lake Fork, but Tyler's plans are to eventually take his food trailer all around the DFW area to different events and food truck parks after summer 2019. Besides running Burgins BBQ, Tyler loves to hang out with family and friends, go fishing, hunting, play golf, watch movies, and visit Central Texas any chance he gets.
