Business Description

I started doing yoga 14 years ago after I was rear ended by a truck going 75 mph. After the accident my hips would not stay in their sockets. My pelvis and sacrum were out of alignment. My knees made grinding sounds when I walked and my knees would lock up when I climbed stairs or bent down to pick something up off the ground. My days of high impact exercises were over!

Yoga has proven more challenging than ANYTHING I've tried before. I'm constantly learning new things...not necessarily new poses...mostly new ways to move my body...my feelings and attitudes towards my body...and learning to connect with my body and to learn from it what it needs. Does it need me to be more active, do I need to stretch more, do I need to build more strength, do I need to ease off a pose, do I need to rest? What am I feeling? Not just physically - but emotionally? Spiritually?
