Business Description
Rod is a Galesburg original having been born and raised in Galesburg, growing up on Cherry St. Moving to Dallas in the 70s, he met Troy in June 1988. Troy grew up on farms in rural Central Texas. Together they operated antique businesses in Dallas, Texas and traveled selling at shows throughout Texas. In 1992 they moved to Waco, Texas - Troys hometown following the death of Troys father. While in Waco, they maintained an antique shop and sold at local antique malls. They also picked and sold for other antique dealers in Texas. In 2009 they began a business to compliment their antique business, they designed, created and sold a line of pillows shams and slipcovers and bedding under the name "The Pillow Fairies". Within one year they were wholesaling their creations to other dealers and antique businesses from Waco to Louisiana to Florida to California and Colorado. It was during this phase they began to realize they could maintain their business in any state. .. And here we are.
