Business Description

Roy is originally from Bemidji, MN, where he spent his childhood skiing and winter camping. He graduated from Harvard College in 2009 and subsequently worked as a software engineer for a financial services firm. Roy first became involved in BodySpec when his wife Elaine helped launch the company as part of her MBA graduate thesis project, and has stayed involved in an increasing capacity since. Elaine graduated from Harvard College in 2009 before working for a non-profit organization helping blind children. Her interest in health and fitness was only ignited in the desperate six months prior to her wedding, but has been maintained (so far) thereafter, in part due to her work with BodySpec. Roy and Elaine enjoy spending time with their three children and 2 canines. They welcomed their most recent addition in June 2023.
