Bear Creek Medical is owned by Dr. Kim Thomas and managed with the help of her stellar staff. Prior to starting Bear Creek Medical Dr. Thomas, a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, was both an attending physician at an academic hospital and a primary care physician in an outpatient clinic. Dr. Thomas also held faculty appointments at the University of Arizona Medical School, Mayo Clinic Scottsdale, and Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Dr. Thomas started Bear Creek Medical because there was an opportunity to help patients achieve meaningful changes in their health that would prevent them from needing pills for blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes and all of the complications that go along with these diseases. Our patients come in because they are motivated and ready for change. We are a unified team and our role is to act as both their cheerleaders and their coaches. When they reach their goals, it is extremely rewarding for them and for us!
