Business Description
I have always been fascinated by birds of all kinds. When we visited Parrot Jungle in 1971, I was nipped by my first Scarlet Macaw and was in love with these beautiful creatures. I also was chosen from the audience at Busch Gardens to hold Fred, the famous Cockatoo from the Baretta TV show and I was hooked.
In 1999, a friend and I opened All About Birds. When she retired in 2004, I re-opened as "About Birds" to signify the change in ownership. Here I am 19 years later still loving what I do!
