Business Description

Yoga 2028 & Aikido of South Florida was founded by Stephanie Yap who has also earned a 7th degree black belt, awarded to her by the late Morihiro Saito Sensei, 9th dan. After graduating from the School of Engineering and Design in Miami, FL, She moved to Japan to depend her knowledge of aikido by living and serving Saito Sensei, one of the most prestigious aikidoists in the world. For over 30 years she has been at this location & continuing her training by annual training sessions in Japan, achieving the honor of being the highest ranking female in the organization.

Stephanie also instructed the Hollywood, Ft Lauderdale Police Department, and the Fort Lauderdale S.W.A.T team for 5 years in a series of seminars formatted towards their specific needs.

She also traveled throughout the world providing seminars in Korea, Mongolia, France, Scotland, Germany and South America, to name a few, managing to raise and donate over $45,000 to charities locally and abroad.
