Business Description
Sue was drawn to the beauty of the Northwoods years ago. On one of her many trips to the area, she stumbled across an old log estate that was in great need of some TLC. A lover of history and all things old, Sue quickly set out to purchase and renovate the estate. In 1998 work began and in 2000 Sue moved to the property, made the Lodge her home and spent the next 14 years in what she describes as a "labor of love".
Today, Sue lovingly shares her property with her guests, family and friends. She has continued to add new and innovative services to her business. There is an onsite spa, outfitting service, and beginning in 2014, Sue will use her skills as a designer and wedding planner to host unique, romantic Destination Weddings on the property.
Aside from all this, Sue also hosts Christian seminars and conferences and Womens Weekend Retreats in the Lodge.
