Optometric Physician Steven Elliott earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1996, and his doctorate from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 2002. Dr. Elliott completed externship rotations at the James H. Quillen Veterans Administration Hospital in Johnson City, as well as with a private practice in Athens, Tennessee.
A native of Anderson County, Dr. Elliott has been in private practice in Anderson County since 2002 and Knox County since 2004. Dr. Elliott is the founder and president of Volunteer Eyecare.
Dr. Elliott practices primary eye care, including routine examinations for glasses and contact lenses, surgical pre- and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgery, and care of primary ocular diseases, including infections, injuries, dry eyes, macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.
