In 1962, the farm stand was moved to its current location in Needham by Ferdinand and Anne Volante where it garnered immediate success and acclaim from the locals. In the 90's, Ferdinand's son Al Volante purchased another parcel of land in Needham in order to expand the farm's homegrown produce production. Half of this 50-acre parcel was donated to the town of Needham for preservation, and the other half continues to be farmed today by the fourth generation of Volantes. Siblings Dave, Teri, and Steve now continue to sustain and expand the family business of providing the freshest the earth has to offer to their loyal customers.
