Business Description

Melissa, Sergio & Sofía- family owned & operated. Our family started with Fluid Espresso Bar, a little hole in the wall coffee shop and bakery across from the capitol. We began to outgrow our tiny shop and micro bakery after 10 years and began searching for a larger space for our bakery. When we saw Brick Oven Pizza empty we knew that it would be a great location & well needed in the neighborhood.

Sergio is the son of a Mexican baker- born in Mexico City raised in a bakery. He has been practicing Mexican & European style pastries & breads for many years. Melissa was born in Sacramento & went to McClatchy. She is a mostly self taught chef who has been practicing world cuisine since high school. She likes to bring an easy approach to world cuisine & believes that food is the way to break down cultural barriers.
