Business Description

Hey, that's me - you can call me Jake! I've been a musician for about 14 years now, starting with drum lessons at Live Music Center in Vacaville. I went on to play in many school band settings, and wrote, taught and performed music for the drumline at Vacaville High School. Since then, I've been in many bands, gone on tour twice, obsessively practiced production in my home studio, and recorded all kinds of local creatives.

In March of 2021, Unit Sounds opened in downtown Fairfield. Developing artists from Fairfield and Vacaville cut their teeth, creating their first singles, music videos and albums here. I also acquired an invaluable load of skills, running the studio, being the salesman, manager,, accountant, maintenance man, engineer and producer.

Unfortunately, I found that this location was too expensive to be a sustainable choice - I cut my losses and moved out.

As of now (10/3/21), the search is on for a new, sustainable location even cozier than the last.
