Business Description
Teri Nobbs is the director and founder of The Stage Door Dance & Theatre Arts Academy. She is privileged to have enjoyed dance and teaching as a career for over 30 years as the previous owner of Teri's Dance & Baton Center. Ms. Nobbs has trained under Mr. Rennie Davis, of Youngstown and many renowned choreographers throughout her training years. She has attended and completed her training to teach dance through the Dance Masters of America Organization.
As an educator, Ms. Nobbs has had the opportunity to teach hundreds of dancers for over 30 years. Teri has a teaching background of teaching for workshops, clinics, performing arts schools, dance lines, show choirs, pre-schools, theatre productions, and has served as a supportive and encouraging training ground for aspiring dancers since 1980. Many of her students have gone on to pursue dance careers on Broadway, Disneyland, Amusement parks, Cruise ships, New York City, L.A. and professional dance lines and companies.
