Business Description

We met selling old and collectible items at local Flea markets. In 1994 we opened Jacks' Flea Market.

For items needing to be inside we had half of a drab brown building, the other being an auto repair shop, It was hard for customers to figure out which area we were in, so to make our shop stand out we painted it PURPLE. As people started shopping with us they started calling our place The Purple Store, thus the current name .

We have continued to operate our store as a Mom & Pop type business with only the two of us and some much valued help from family.

Feeling our customers would rather see low prices than a big new building we continue to stay in the same old place with a few improvements.

We still like making deals and sell our merchandise like we did as a Flea market, maintaining a flea market appearance with tables of items out front in good weather. Most customers are surprised to find the quality items and the one on one service we offer as well as the great prices
