Business Description

I was passed down the shopping & decorating gene from my mother but little did I know I would put it into use owing my own gift shop! My husband & his family own a few local Ace Hardware stores (Nena Hardware in Peoria, Germantown Hills, & Morton). It was his idea to have me open a gift store inside the Germantown Hills location. I thought he was crazy but I did it & had no idea that it was meant to be my calling in life! Once I had our first Nook established I started to look at the Peoria Heights area to add my 2nd store. I knew I wanted to be where it was 'happening' & that is in the Heights! I also knew the feeling of nostalgia & quaintness of the Heights would be a great fit for my store style. It has truly been a blessing to own both of these stores & do what I love! I hope you enjoy being in my store as much as I do!
