Business Description
Bill was born in Maine and raised in Montreal until he finished school. Then, after a three year tour of duty in West Germany with the US Army, he settled back in Maine. Soon after took a job at Jotul USA, now Jotul North America, and after five years became the Technical Service Manager. After nine years at Jotul he left to work with a close friend as a residential construction job co-ordinator. Two years later, Bill decided to go back to the Hearth Industry and took a job as Service Manager at the now defunct Black Stove Shop in Yarmouth. Within eighteen months he determined that that opening his own business would be the best use of his talents and went on to start The Hearth Doctor, the history of which is recapped above.
