Dr. Jennifer Hazelwood is the owner and founder of The Eye Site. She is originally from Akron, a graduate of Firestone High School and Ohio University. She received her doctorate from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts in 2000. After graduating from N.E.C.O., she joined the faculty of her alma mater as a clinical professor and director of eye service at the South Boston Community Health Center. Dr. Hazelwood also served as staff optometrist at Gillette Company and had her own small private practice while living in Boston until her return to Ohio in the fall of 2008. She loves the Copley community therefore, Dr. Hazelwood now lives in Copley with her husband, Alvaro and their children, Diego and Mia. She is also a board member and membership chair of the new Copley Chamber of Commerce and active in the Ohio Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
