Hello, and welcome to The Darling Loft Salon! My name is Rachel: mom of three, wife to P, and lover of all things girly and ever-so-quirky. I dress like a middle school art teacher and craft hard when I am not serving guests at the Loft, playing ponies with my girls, or nerding out with my nearly teenaged son. Coming from larger salon experiences I longed for more one-on-one connection with my people. So many of us mommas are helping our kids more, and we need some space to just be ourselves. I was also burdened by women who were used to going into an office all day with friends but are now staring at screens alone with their fur-babies. Going virtual has it's perks, but I am sure that we all agree that we miss personal connection. So, I opened the Darling Loft: partially because I really wanted to put up my plate wall, but mostly because I longed for personal connection with my guests.
