Amelia graduated from an Aveda Institute in Seattle where she learned foundational techniques and a love of precision. Following school she pursued advanced training in a high volume salon. Seeking a more versatile repertoire and a more diverse environment she left for Rudy's Barbershop where she honed her skills in a wide array of services. She then worked at BANG Seattle for a number of years before becoming self-employed in 2016. The Cutting Room is her new place of business located in her barn.
