Music has been in my life since I was born. My grandmother was a Ustaad of Classical Sitar music in India and she lived with and took care of me when I was growing up. Although I strayed away from Sitar and mastered the guitar instead, playing indian music, indian instruments and understanding Indian musical theory still gives me joy. I studied music in college with an emphasis in classical guitar which sharpened my foundations in music. Ultimately I believe that music has a power to connect people and bring them closer together than anything else on the planet. Giving people the tools to be able to play their favorite songs or create music they feel is the job I love to do.
