Business Description

My husband, Chuck, and I purchased SweetWater Resort in March of 2001. We enjoy providing families an opportunity to relax and enjoy beautiful Fish Trap Lake. We say, Sweetwater is "The little resort with the BIG experience" because we are a small family/dog friendly resort with 7 modern, air-conditioned, furnished, 2, 3 & 6 bedroom housekeeping cabins. Only 2 hours from the twin cities, Sweetwater is located in a quiet bay, on the1300 acre Fish Trap Lake, 35 miles southwest of Brainerd, MN. Pontoons and fishing boats/motors are available to rent. Fish for bass, walleye, northern or pan fish. Sandy, swimming beach, kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, playground, basketball hoops, volleyball, lawn games, available for guests to use at no cost. Daily organized activities are available.
