Julie Shaw fell in love with yoga immediately over 10 years ago in Florida. She took the first teacher training with her then Ashtanga teacher Margarida Tree of One Yoga Planet in Fort Pierce, Florida. She relocated to North Carolina shortly after graduation with her husband and youngest son and began to teach to the community at the local Recreation Dept. A few months later a perfect space became available for a yoga studio in a great spot on the square in downtown Hayesville, NC. With the help and support of her husband Kirby the space was refurbished into a sacred space for yoga instruction. She still loves yoga and now loves to teach to her peeps. She feels especially grateful for the opportunity to introduce yoga to people for the first time. In addition to her regular classes at the studio she teaches chair yoga to senior citizens at the Senior Center in Hayesville and to the residents of Clay County Care Center also in Hayesville
