Formerly known as Mamselles, Studio G Hair Design was started by Gloria Giangeruso in 1978, who graduated from Masters Beauty School in the late 60s. In 1987, the business changed its name to Studio G Hair Design, and in 1989, Gloria's daughter, Debbie Giangeruso-Thomson, joined the team after graduating from Bergen Community College with an A.A.S. Degree for Business Executive Secretarial and from Natural Motion Institute of Hair Design. Sadly, Gloria passed away from lung cancer in 2000, but her legacy lives on through her family's business.
