Business Description

Instructor Amy Chaplin has been teaching privately for over a decade. She holds two degrees in music: a Masters in Piano Pedagogy and Performance from Ball State University and Bachelors in Choral Education K-12 from Huntington University. While at Huntington, she was a finalist in the 2002 concerto competition. After graduating Magna cum Laude, Amy was the Choral Director at Bluffton-Harrison Middle School and High School. She later served as a soprano in the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir while teaching piano privately out of her home in Australia.

Amy is Vice President of Membership with Indiana Music Teachers Association and served as President of Ball State's Collegiate Chapter of MTNA from 2010-2011, receiving the IMTA Student Achievement Recognition Award for 2011 in recognition of excellence in academic achievement, successful teaching experience, and demonstrated leadership abilities.
