Business Description
Gwen earned her Maryland Cosmetology license in 2004 and opened Studio 5 Hair Gallery in December of 2005. She soon realized that there was a significant need for addressing hair loss issues due to medical and environmental stressors. Gwen is an active member of The American Hair Loss Council. She also has a partnership with Recover with Confidence, a group of hair loss professionals recognized by the medical community. Gwen volunteers as a coordinator for the Look Good Feel Better program for oncology patients at MedStar St Mary's Hospital. She has earned numerous certifications over the years to include: Certified Medical Hair Loss Specialist, Certified Men's and Women's Non-Surgical Hair Replacement Specialist, and Certified Hair Dreams Extension Specialist. Gwen truly loves coming to work each day and finds great satisfaction in helping her clients regain and maintain their self-confidence, self-esteem and image.
