Business Description

Tammy Edwards has her Master's in Education and has taught all levels from preschool to college. Most of her career, she has taught middle and high school math and science. Tammy loves children of all ages and is thankful for STREAM so she can partner with families to bring out the best in their children academically, socially, and emotionally. Tammy also previously worked as a forensic pathology assistant and embalmer performing autopsies and embalming as well as teaching cadaver dissection at the university level. The highlight of her career before opening STREAM, was attending Advance Space Academy and applying to be a NASA astronaut with homes of going to the moon on the AMES rocket. Her love for hands-on science, design challenges, robotics, rocketry, and technology spills over onto the children she teaches. We have a STREAM Dream Team of ten passionate teachers and staff, experts in their fields as well as a multitude of student and parent volunteers.
