Located in Laguna Niguel, California, South Coast Conservatory is the largest dance studio in Orange County. With over 1,300 actively enrolled students, this studio offers a wide range of classes and programs, including musical theater, tumbling, hip hop, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, and aerial arts. In addition to these classes, South Coast Conservatory is also home to Compass Modern Dance Company, Industry Nights Masterclasses, and Company VI.

With 8 large dance rooms, full certified gym, marley flooring, and on-site dance retail store, South Coast Conservatory is able to provide outstanding instruction that caters to the needs of each individual student. The faculty includes working professional dancers, choreographers, and former Joffrey, Bolshoi, and Moscow Ballet company dancers. The studio has a long-standing reputation for excellence, with dozens of awards to their name.

The founder of South Coast Conservatory, Jena Minnick, has over 30 years of dance training and 20 years of teaching and choreography experience. Ms. Minnick acquired South Coast Conservatory in 2002 and has since expanded the school three times, increasing enrollment by 450%. She also founded the non-profit organization Dance Discovery Foundation in 2009, which supports local dance companies and dance education in public schools. Ms. Minnick has a BS Business and Marketing from Johnson & Wales University with a minor in dance and psychology. She is a Graduate of Casalino School of Ballet in Salt Lake City, UT.
