Business Description

SketchforSchools Publishing has been providing educational sketchbook text books at budget sensitive prices for over two decades, previously known as The Educational Sketchbook Program®, 100% made in the U.S.A. Dan, author and artist, strongly believes in the importance sketching contributes to academic excellence. Past budget cuts directly impacted the arts, and the discipline of sketching was minimized or eliminated. Thanks to the consorted efforts of art education professionals schools are reintroducing sketching. However, the unthinkable happened and tragedy struck. My husband and best friend was violently rear-ended by a drunk driver resulting in traumatic brain injury, rendering him permanently disabled. In honor of Dan, I wanted to continue the Educational Sketchbook Program®. Dan's recovery process included neuro-therapy where he met Dr. Thurber. During his therapy sessions Dr. Thurber introduced a neurodevelopment curriculum which is actively used in neuro-therapy.
