The help of many treasured friends and family has contributed to the joy, success, and entertainment of Skateland since 1956. Pat and Anita grew up in the Magic Valley and have worked in a variety of fields throughout their lives, including farming, ranching, hay bucking, hot rod building (for fun), Canada Dry soda distribution and Pepsi truck driving, 36 years in the Army 116th Calvary, and so many other areas. Anita's father Leo had a small grocery store and butcher shop, while Pat's dad was a sheriff. They've enjoyed living in the valley all their lives--fishing, hunting, and camping here and throughout the west.
