Hello! Namaste

We are here, in these bodies. Precious and problematic all at the same time. Movement can be blissful or a source of great anguish. There are no quick fixes or easy answers. One of the best things we can do is begin a practice, a ritual, to turn in and pay attention. What do I need now, what am I sensing, what is up for me today?

This is the starting point for yoga. Then, as we move breathe, sit still, settle, we learn. Less in words and concepts and more in sensations and knowings. After years of practice we can find a deeper trust in ourselves and also in the world around us.

It's a rooted, grounded, physical kind of healing that reaches into the cosmos. It is knowing so certainly stuff that is mystical. It's the yes, please and thank you.

It is opening safely into who you are and what you have to offer to the world.

All of this from simple movements meant to strengthen, to sooth, to inspire, to delight, to challenge, and ultimately leave you feeling awake.
