Stephanie has a Master's degree in Counseling from Campbell University, a Post Master's Certificate in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has trained with EMDR Institute and The Gottman Institute in The Gottman Method for Couples' Therapy. She has 16 years of experience with the public school system.

Stephanie began yoga practice 3 years ago and was immediately amazed by the power of meditation, movement and breath used in synchrony to promote all facets of wellness. From this training and experience, Stephanie adopted a holistic approach to health and wellness. This was the final push prompting the opening of Samata Wellness Solutions.
