Fifty plus years ago at age six, "HR" Ross shot his first bow, made by a Seminole Indian in South West Florida. He has been addicted to bow hunting (especially Whitetail Deer Hunting Florida) and the great outdoors ever since, carrying stick and string from Africa to Alaska and back. After graduating from Rollins College in 1976, HR went to work in the computer industry, but always preferred the hunting in Florida Woods and Water, over hunting for Bits and Bytes. In 1992, HR was Founder and C.E.O. of PowerCerv Technologies, taking the software products and services company public on NASDAQ in 1996. HR was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by USA Today in 1996, and while most other software gurus were buying fast planes and fast cars, HR promptly purchased a faster bow, and the Florida hunting ranch land that RHR (one of the best Hunting Lodges in Florida) sits on today. in the late 1990's, on the way home from an Alabama Rut hunt, the decision to build and open RHR.
