Business Description

Hello, I am one-third of the belly dance troupe Raqs Ayana. We are a collaborate troupe, meaning that there is no "boss" but I often take on the role as spokesperson. I remember going to watch Fanina perform with Ritim Egzotik and guest drummer Faisal Zedan, and just loving her performance. I looked across the aisle in the audience and spotted Emilie Lauren, whose dancing I had already known and loved for some time, the idea sparked that we would be a pretty awesome team. The rest, as they say, is history!

While we share similar tastes in style and music, we each bring unique ideas to the group and challenge each other to grow in our individual art forms. Working with this troupe has been an artistic blessing and our joy for life and dance shines through in every performance.
