Business Description
I am a retired school teacher from Hartford Public Schools. Once I retired my husband and I wanted to establish a business in the community where I could still encourage the youth to read and express their artwork. My husband's love of comics from a young age seem to be a great fit. When we opened there were no comic book shops close by unless you went to Kalamazoo, South Bend, or Michigan City. So we felt there would be a need to fill this void. We also wanted someplace where those who like to play Magic, Pokemon, or Dungeons and Dragons could play without a big hassle. We are still trying to expand this part of our business but are encouraged by having some customers who have already played some Magic games here on the weekend.We will continue to encourage those that want to use our facility to play to just let us know and we will work with them.
