Business Description

J. David Rauch is the Founder and CEO of ProTec Building Services, overseeing HOA General Contracting for 1,500+ communities in Southern California & Nevada. In 1992 he co-invented the first HOA Preventive Maintenance Manual, contributing to the creation of thousands nationwide. In 1996, he introduced the Common Area Maintenance Program (CAMP), bringing proactive strategies to community maintenance. A recognized thought leader in housing & community development, Dave has shared insights through 100+ articles in publications such as Builder Magazine and Common Ground. As a founding member of CACM's Affiliate Council, he played a big role in drafting California's Right-to-Repair Law in 2003. Following the Champlain Towers South collapse, Dave led CAI task forces and chaired the committee for the Best Practices: Community Association Maintenance report. Armed with a bachelor's degree in City Planning and a Certificate in Real Estate, Dave continues to drive innovation in the industry.
