Sheila Bailey began her dance studies in St. George with Diane Hafen. As a scholarship student at Southern Utah University, she danced with Burch Mann's America Folk Ballet. During her performing career with Arizona Ballet Theatre of Tucson she began her teaching career at the Stephanie Stigers School of Ballet, Pima Community College. Her teaching abilities were noticed, and she was hired to relocate and join the staff of Dancenter North, a Performing Arts School in Chicago. There she taught all forms of dance. Sheila continued her dance education with the University of Illinois through her 21-year membership in the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters. Sheila for 4 years was adjust faculty for DSC teaching Ballet, Jazz and coaching Cheer. She has served as a board member of the St. George City Arts Commission. Named 2008 Woman of Achievement from the national organization of BPW (Business and Professional Women)
