Felipe has been fascinated with the beauty of flowers all his life. In his youth, he would take care of plants and flowers around his family home in Manila. Later, in college, he expanded his interest in flowers when a friend introduced him to orchids. He fell in love with orchids and started a small orchid collection. During this time, he was able to learn proper orchid care and to explore his artistry in flower arranging.
Several years later, Felipe moved to America. After workng with numerous floral designers, he decided to move to the next phase and opened Orchid Florist in 1997. He continues to interact with many talented local and international floral designers. His work has appeared in several exhibits.
He likes to share his passion for flowers with friends, family and customers. He believes that each flower has its own beauty but each contributes to the awesome beauty of the world around us. He says that only God can make a tree, we but all can help a flower to grow
